Shopping on SKITSCH
With Italian artistic direction and production, we asked the top Italian and international designers to come up with highly creative products and buying them on SKITSCH is simple, intuitive, secure and fast.
Browsing
From the menu on the left that appears on all site pages you can choose to browse by category (product range), by room or by designer and discover all the products that make up the SKITSCH collection.
Your chosen browsing method will take you to the specific selection area where you can browse at leisure.
Clicking on the product you are interested in will open a window with all the details and information necessary before making your purchase.
Clicking on “Add to Basket” puts the product onto your order list. (This does not confirm your purchase).
Registration
To make a purchase you must create an account by clicking on the “My Account” icon at the top right of the page.
Registration allows you to make secure purchases and use services like the Wish List, an unlimited container for products you like and want to share with your friends.
If you are an officially registered architect, you can gain access to special offers by providing this information when you register with us.
Basket
Once you have created your account, all you need to do to complete a purchase is click on the “Basket” icon, again at the top right of the page.
The first step of the basket allows you to check the quantity of your order and also decide whether to order gift wrapping or assembly when available.
Continue with your order and fill in delivery details in the second step of the basket. The next two steps allow you to choose delivery and payment methods.
When you place your order, one or more products may not be available in our warehouse and you might have to reserve them. If your order includes products with different delivery dates, the whole order will be delivered together on the last delivery date.
Once you have finished all the steps in the basket and confirmed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail at the address you gave on registration.
After completing your purchase
In the “My Orders” section of My Account you can see a list of all your orders and their current state.
If you need more detailed information you can use the online form to send us a message or contact our Call Centre, from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at 199-411411 (from Italy) or at +39 06 51763106 (from outside Italy).
Delivery times
There are two kinds of delivery services: Gold and Silver.
Gold
Reserved for fragile and/or bulky articles. The service includes delivery of the article into the house, assembly (if requested during purchase) and removal of packing materials by the carrier.
The service also includes contact from the courier for arranging delivery at a time to suit you. Gold service delivery times are 4-10 working days. Articles are always delivered to your door.

Reserved for all the other kinds of medium and small articles.
The service does not include delivery of the article into the house, assembly or removal of packing materials by the carrier. The carrier will however contact you by phone to arrange delivery times. Maximum delivery time is 72 hours. Articles are always delivered to your door.

Depending on the product chosen we will suggest the most suitable delivery service. If you have chosen at least one fragile and/or bulky article, we will always offer you Gold delivery, if not you can choose between Gold and Silver.

Returns
You will find all the details on how return goods in the General Contract Conditions.
To return one or more purchased articles, contact our Call Centre at 199 411411 (from Italy), or +390651763106 (from abroad), from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, to arrange return methods. Have your Order Number to hand for our operators.

SKITSCH reserves the right to refuse articles returned late or articles that are not returned in the same condition in which they were received.
Refunds
Refunds will be made using the same payment method you selected.
In the case of payment with bank transfer or cheque any refunds will require a bank or post office account.
Credit Card
If you paid with a credit card, once SKITSCH has received your returned goods and checked that all requisites have been respected, you will receive confirmation of acceptance of the returns at the e-mail address you provided on registration.
The refund will be made on the same day as acceptance, to the same credit card you used for purchase. The time necessary for the credit to go through will depend on the bank issuing the card.
PayPal
If you paid with PayPal, once SKITSCH has received your returned goods and checked that all requisites have been respected, you will receive confirmation of acceptance of the returns at the e-mail address you provided on registration.
The refund will be made to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately.
Bank transfer
If you paid with a bank transfer, once SKITSCH has received your returned goods and checked that all requisites have been respected, you will receive confirmation of acceptance of the returns at the e-mail address you provided on registration.
The refund will be made to your current account. The time necessary for the credit to go through will depend on your bank.
Payment on delivery
If you paid a deposit and then the balance on delivery, once SKITSCH has received your returned goods and checked that all requisites have been respected, you will receive confirmation of acceptance of the returns at the e-mail address you provided on registration.
You will normally receive the refund within a month. You will be contacted by our Call Centre and asked for the name of the account holder and IBAN code. You will find these details on your bank statement or you can ask your bank for them.
Gift Wrapping and Assembly
If your purchase is a gift, you can choose the gift wrapping option in the first step of the basket, for one or more articles. These will be gift wrapped and sent to the address you provide. Gift wrapping costs € 5.00. For each order with one or more gift boxes you can also attach a personalized greeting card.
Gift wrapping cannot be requested for several articles in the same delivery. Every gift wrapped includes one single item. In the case of multiple purchases of the same product, make sure that the number of wrapped gifts corresponds to that of the articles.
Assembly
If you also want to purchase our assembly service, available for some products, just click on the "Assembly" option. This allows you to purchase this service subject to a surcharge of 6% of the product's list price.

PAYMENTS
Payments are made through a financial gateway on SSL secure server.
Possible payments methods: credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, bank transfer and payment on delivery.

Credit Card
If you pay with credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), insert the data requested on the payment page.
PayPal
If you use PayPal, access your account and complete the payment. If you do not have an account, you can create one via the PayPal login page.
Bank transfer
If you would like to pay with a bank transfer, proceed with your purchase and then arrange for payment to be made to SKITSCH S.p.A - IBAN: IT67 K054 2801 6020 0000 0027 081 - Deposit + balance
Deposit
Deposits must equal 30% of the total order amount and you can pay using credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Payment methods for deposits are the same as those given above for “payment of the entire amount”.
Balance
You can either pay on delivery or with a bank transfer.
Payment on delivery
For payment of the balance on delivery, please give the carrier a cheque (non-transferable bank cheque or banker’s draft made out to SKITSCH S.p.A.) for the outstanding balance. The carrier cannot accept cash or cheques drawn on foreign banks and cannot give change. This kind of payment is only valid for deliveries in Italy and entails a surcharge of 3% of the total amount.
Bank transfer
If you decide to pay with a bank transfer, arrange for payment of the outstanding balance to be made to SKITSCH S.p.A - IBAN: IT67 K054 2801 6020 0000 0027 081 – within 10 working days from payment of the deposit.
Please note
The above payment methods have different costs and times so we advise you consider how soon you would like to receive your order as quoted delivery times commence on receipt of the balance.
In the case of payment with bank transfer, the order will only be confirmed on receipt of the balance and delivery times will start on the date of receipt. In the case of limited availability of products we will advise you that your order may be cancelled. In the event of cancellation you will be immediately contacted by our Call Centre.
